The 22 year-old, Milan-based food photographer Isabella Vacchi has some gorgeous work that really speak to us! Mixing food still life with different color palettes in her FoodTone series or simply creating beautiful compositions, her style stands out in this world of food trends and lends some great visual insight.
How did FOODTONE?
The project FOODTONE came from the combination of two great passions: food photography and color. Colorimetry, color classification and, more simply, the infinite variety of existing colors: everything fascinates me a lot. From pre-existing palette Pantone, based on the feeling that they evoke, I designed a set of five images of food, each relating to a particular time of day, from breakfast to dinner. So, I decided to present it as if it were a block of Pantone palette: I made a hole in the left corner of the boards and I joined together by a ring.
