Suzanne Rae is a designer for the future gentlewoman, a lady who is constantly concerned about the slow fashion climate.

The Brooklyn-based fashion talent aims to design solutions to the conflicts we meet when dressing both sustainable and fashionable, and highlights the relationship between clothes and personal autonomy. For the Spring Summer collection 2015, she was inspired by the sophistication of the mysterious Egyptian pyramids and their perfect structures.

The clothing line is both feminine and feminist in philosophy, with minimalist look and relevant functionalities. All of Rae’s garments are produced in the Garment District of New York, to reduce energy consumption, decrease transportation and resources.

Encouraging women to invest in few quality pieces that are responsibly produced yet versatile, Suzanne Rae is a label we feel an instant interest for, as the future is scouting towards a more vital climate for the forerunners who wants to dress in an eco-friendly matter.
