Nehera was originally founded in the 1930s Czechoslovakia by visionary businessman Jan Nehera, but it was only when Samuel Drira took on the creative direction of the label in 2014 that the brand was officially relaunched, assuming a visual identity that combines experimental shapes with timeless craftsmanship. In the Fall/Winter 2016 collection, Drira explored the architectural amplitude of the shapes with neutral tones, in cocoon-shaped capes and tunics often layered in a single look. Reflecting the collection’s construction work, the ad campaign photographed by Evelyn Bencicova arrives to a point in which the commercial and artistic meet, creating an interesting visual duality in each image.
